Archers London – Returns & Refund Policy Terms and Conditions

Welcome to ARCHERS LONDON!

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

As you are shopping online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item(s), without giving a reason.

  • To cancel, notify us in writing (email is fine) within this 14-day period.

  • You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us to send the item(s) back to us.

  • Once we receive the returned item, or evidence you've sent it, we will process your refund within 14 days.

Condition of returned goods: Items must be returned unworn, unused, undamaged, with all original tags and packaging intact — the same care a customer would take trying on an item in a shop. We reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund if the goods show signs of use beyond what's necessary to establish their nature and function (this is standard under UK regulations, not a discretionary penalty).

Return shipping costs: Unless the item is faulty or not as described, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.

Original delivery charge: If you cancel the whole order under this right, we will refund the standard delivery cost you paid (not any premium/expedited option you may have chosen).

2. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to:

  • Personalised or custom-made jackets (e.g. bespoke sizing, monogramming, made-to-order items), as these are exempt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Items returned in a condition that shows excessive wear beyond what's needed to check fit and function (a deduction may be applied, or the return may be refused).

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description:

  • Within 30 days of receipt: You are entitled to a full refund.

  • After 30 days, up to 6 months: You are entitled to a repair or replacement (your choice, unless impossible/disproportionate). If a repair/replacement fails, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.

  • After 6 months: You may still have rights, but you may need to demonstrate the fault was present at the time of delivery.

These rights are in addition to, and unaffected by, the 14-day cooling-off period above and do not expire on the same timeline.

Please contact us at [insert email] with your order number and photos of the fault/damage/discrepancy before returning the item, so we can advise the best next step.

4. How to Start a Return

  1. Email [archerslondon@gmail.com] with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason.

  2. We will confirm your return and provide instructions (and a returns address, if different from our main address).

  3. Pack the item securely with original packaging and tags.

  4. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • We aim to process approved refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item (or proof of return postage), as required by law.

  • Original delivery charges are refunded only when the entire order is cancelled/returned under Section 1, or where the item is faulty.

6. Exchanges

If you'd like a different size or style, we recommend requesting a return/refund and placing a new order, to ensure the item you want is reserved and doesn't go out of stock. Amend if you offer direct exchanges.

7. Sale Items

[State your policy — e.g. "Sale items are eligible for return under the same policy above" or "Sale items are final sale, except where faulty," whichever applies to your business. Note: you cannot legally exclude statutory rights for faulty goods even on sale items.]
